Há quem faça da vida uma constante poesia. É o caso dos sonhadores por exemplo. E há quem faça da poesia uma constante na vida. Esses são os poetas, também sonhadores, que buscam, por meio da arte de poetar, retratar seus anseios e os alheios, ou mesmo trabalhar a palavra nas metáforas, jogo de sons, rimas, recursos visuais e tantas outras maravilhas que compõem, hoje, o que chamamos de universo poético.
O poeta é um ser inquieto. Inquieto com tudo que o circunda. Incomoda-o a injustiça social, a violência mundial, a política descomunal… Por isso, ele canta, não só as suas dores, os seus clamores, como também os do mundo e, dessa forma, o poeta encanta.
O poeta é um lutador. Luta com as palavras que muitas vezes o atropela, na ânsia por aquela que melhor reflete a sua verdade. “Lutar com palavras/ é a luta mais vã/ entanto lutamos/ mal rompe a manhã”… Carlos Drummond de Andrade.
Não é necessário ser poeta para perceber a existência da poesia nas coisas, nas pessoas, no tempo… A poesia está relacionada à emoção, embora, João Cabral de Mello Neto, considerado um poeta seco, ter dito que não precisava e nem achava necessária a emoção para compor seus poemas.
Para entender o poeta é necessário ter olhos de poeta: “Quando um leitor diz ao poeta que não entendeu o que ele quis dizer com o seu poema, é porque um dos dois é burro”. Mário Quintana.
Por isso, o poeta também “é um fingidor. / Finge tão completamente/ que chega a fingir que é dor/ a dor que, deveras, sente”. Fernando Pessoa.
Alguns poetas têm uma fonte de inspiração peculiar. Augusto dos Anjos, por exemplo, tornou-se conhecido como o poeta que cantava a morte, a degradação do ser humano como corpo que apodrece com o fim da existência; já, Carlos Drummond de Andrade se firmou como o poeta que cantava a vida, as coisas, a pedra, o urbano.
A trajetória do ser humano é composta de emoções, por isso, nossa vida é uma constante poesia encontrada na música, nas artes, nos acontecimentos alegres e tristes que nos rodeiam.
Observem uma mulher grávida. Ela difere de uma mulher gorda. A barriga de uma gestante nos emociona pelo seu interior. Assim também é com a poesia. É preciso ver a essência.
Enfim, seja lírico, sonetista, modernista, concretista, cordelista ou trovador, o poeta é multifacetado e consegue fazer da palavra uma obra de arte e, da poesia, o ar que ele respira.
