Adoro viajar, conhecer lugares, pessoas, ver outras paisagens… Porém, tenho pânico de avião. Só de imaginar, me sobe um frio na barriga, meu coração dispara e haja calmante para me acalmar. Na noite que antecede a viagem, mal consigo pregar os olhos, imaginando que o avião vai cair, vou deixar esta vida. Então, me programo: aviso à família do dinheiro que estou deixando para eles, do meu seguro, etc. etc.
Minha tia, que já tem outro passaporte de tanto carimbo, busca sempre me acalmar e recomenda que não devo tomar nenhum sonífero, pois vai que haja uma despressurização e eu precise colocar a máscara de oxigênio, tenho de estar acordada. Ai, ai, ai, quando ela me fala isso, aí que surto mesmo.
Mas não vou deixar de ir novamente a Liverpool respirar Beatles por mais de dez dias. Não vai ter avião para me impedir. Por isso, procuro exercitar o meu positivismo nos dias que antecedem a viagem.
É hoje! Sei que a viagem será longa: saindo do Aeroporto de Congonhas (São Paulo), mais doze horas no ar, atravessando o oceano, e chegarei a Frankfurt (Alemanha) e depois a Liverpool.
Entro, busco minha poltrona e assento-me com meu companheiro. Afivelo o cinto, respiro fundo, faço o Nome-do-Pai e já vou pedindo perdão a Deus antecipadamente, quando, de repente, a voz me ataca os ouvidos: “senhores passageiros, sejam bem-vindos! Eu sou o comandante SUCUPIRA e tenho ao meu lado o copiloto FRITZ…”
Valha-me, meu Deus! Imediatamente a minha memória, que não é RAM, mas não me trai, retorna ao ano de 1973, quando foi exibida a novela O Bem-Amado, ambientada na cidade fictícia de SUCUPIRA, que tinha por prefeito Odorico Paraguaçu, cujo objetivo era inaugurar o cemitério dessa cidade, esperando ansiosamente que alguém “batesse as botas”. Esse comandante SUCUPIRA não combina com este voo…
Como se não bastasse, o copiloto chama-se FRITZ. E, novamente, sou acionada pelo meu computador automático, ao relacionar esse nome ao alemão que “é a denominação de uma entidade espiritual que, segundo crença religiosa, incorporaria médiuns para efetuar tratamentos espirituais”.
Concluo: já estou na transcendência… minhas pernas começam a tremer, a boca seca, meu coração dispara, e decido: posso não tomar um rivotril, mas que vou encher a cara, isso vou! Aviso à comissária que, dentro da possibilidade mais urgente, me traga um uísque, para ver se ele “sobe” rápido como este avião.
Bem, tirando o meio do caminho, sei que a decolagem e a aterrissagem são os mais perigosos, por isso, cruzo os dedos e rezo para que o Sucupira “passe a bola” para o Fritz, afinal, ele já conhece o outro mundo, por isso, tem como nos livrar dele mais facilmente…
Decolou. Consigo descolar todos os meus membros que estão paralisados…
Vou tentando passar o tempo: um filme, um show, algumas linhas de um livro e, quando, finalmente, parece que a minha pressão e impressão chegam ao normal, ouço, novamente, a voz que me retesa: “Senhores passageiros, estamos prestes a entrar numa forte turbulência. Solicito que se mantenham assentados, cintos afivelados, os aparelhos eletrônicos todos desligados… Informamos, também, que as luzes da aeronave serão apagadas…”
Pronto, já vi que morrerei na escuridão! Só me faltava essa! No escuro, a nossa sensibilidade tátil fica mais aguçada. E, então, tudo começa a balançar: de cima, de baixo, dos lados, e agora já não sei mais se é o Fritz que está “no comando”…
Nesse desespero sem fim, eureca! Monteiro Lobato me invade e me diz que se vou para relembrar um quarteto do qual hoje só restam dois: o Paul – embora, para muitos, ele também já partiu para o outro lado, num acidente de moto, e o que está aí não é ele – e o Ringo Start que ultimamente está tão fora do “ringue” que até nos esquecemos dele, nada melhor que antecipar o show e penetrar no passado, ouvindo os Beatles cantando alto em meus ouvidos: Strawberry Fields: Me deixe te levar/Porque eu estou indo para Strawberry Fields/Nada é real/E não há nada com o que se preocupar/Strawberry Fields Para Sempre.
