A esperança que louva-a-deus

Domingo, 5 de abril de 2020, 8 horas da manhã. Dia, mês e ano da pandemia.

Eis que um lindo dia se inicia. O sol, ainda tímido, começa a banhar os espaços, e desço do meu apartamento para a área interna do prédio, à sua busca.

Caminhando devagar, observo as plantas, o céu e o silêncio que ainda reina enquanto as pessoas ainda estão adormecidas. Nesse caminhar, louvo a Deus pela beleza da natureza. Tudo está em seu lugar. As plantas e flores vicejam no jardim e, suavemente, balançam ao molejo do vento suave, como em reverência ao Criador. Alheias ao caos que se instalou no mundo humano, elas cumprem o seu destino de sempre: nascer, florescer e morrer. Depois de lançada a semente, no tempo certo, surge minúscula, mas forte, e, naquele espaço, ganha corpo e robustez, e cresce e floresce, e dá flor ou fruto, de acordo com a sua natureza. Sua sina é não parar, não desistir para cumprir o propósito de existir até o tempo que lhe foi proporcionado.

Observando e pensando, traço um paralelo entre o ser humano e a natureza, pois ambos têm o mesmo propósito no mundo: nascer, crescer e morrer, e, embora a natureza não disponha da racionalidade presente no mundo humano, percebo que, talvez, por isso, ela tenha maior capacidade de aceitação de tudo que lhe acontece, porque de nenhuma forma ela se revolta. Ainda que o fogo varra uma floresta, causando vasta destruição, eis que, com o passar do tempo, o verde novamente vai forrando a terra crispada pelas cinzas…

De repente, no corredor do prédio onde a luz do sol não se infiltra, no chão frio do mármore, eis que vejo um louva-a-deus parado em direção à luz do sol.

Miro o louva-a-deus, que honra o nome pela posição ajoelhada sobre as duas patinhas dianteiras, em atitude de oração, paralisado por horas, no chão frio de mármore sem nenhum alimento…

O que ele está querendo me dizer? Que em meio à frieza, à dureza, à ausência, há um propósito. Ainda que seja levar a esperança àqueles que se deparam com ele.

Exatos sessenta minutos depois, saio do apartamento e retorno ao lugar onde ele se encontra. Batizado de esperança, lá está ele na mesma posição e no mesmo lugar, enfatizando que a esperança não desiste…
