Estou aqui, postado a sua tumba, na esperança de sorver, ainda que você não mais respire, a nuvem de inspiração que o envolveu nos seus escritos.
É provável que, se vivo fosse, você me diria para não gastar as solas do meu sapato em vã escalada, afinal, só se atinge o topo, principalmente o literário, por meio de inúmeras leituras e, claro, muitas palavras deitadas no papel. Sim, no papel, afinal, no seu século, eram as penas que depenavam as folhas com garranchos e rabiscos (ilegíveis alguns manuscritos, tamanha era a rapidez da escrita para expor os pensamentos que se atropelavam). E mais: leia os clássicos. Todos. Neles, estão contidas todas as mazelas da humanidade desde os seus primórdios. Os tempos mudam. Sei. O progresso invade-nos por dentro e por fora. Até as doenças se atualizam. Antes, morria-se de tísica, pneumonia, febre amarela… Hoje, morre-se de doença universal: câncer, nas suas mais variadas raízes…
– Perscrute a história (você, com seu pincenê na ponta do nariz e dedo em riste, certamente, diria). Lá, estão incrustados todos os vícios e os pecados capitais da humanidade, ainda no engatinhar do progresso nos transportes, nas comunicações, enfim, desde que o homem surgiu na vertical – produzindo o fogo com o atrito das pedras, matando animais para se alimentar, construindo abrigo mais que rudimentar para se proteger das altas e baixas temperaturas, do fogo do sol e da água do céu – a soberba, a humildade, a inveja, a beleza, o ciúme, o bem, o mal, o ódio e o amor já se digladiavam, buscando reinar no coração humano. Essa é a matéria bruta com que se faz a arte. Seja ela em prosa ou verso; em tela ou som; em barro ou ferro… Mas há que se vigiar! “Nem tudo que reluz é ouro”, nem tudo que é exposto tem valia. É preciso, primeiro, eliminar algumas damas e cavalheiros expostos acima, para que a essência seja a mais pura, a mais original, pois, com alguns deles a tiracolo, as vistas se embaçam, as ideias intimam a razão para um duelo, suplicando, no final, à inveja, à soberba ocupar o trono imaginário, instalado na cabeça de um néscio.
Não busque tanto dar serviço ao corpo, levando-o a tantos lugares, outras nações, pensando que, com isso, ele absorverá cultura, inflando-se de sabedoria. Nunca saí do Cosme Velho, e, no entanto…
Sobretudo, dê especial atenção à cabeça: olhos, nariz, ouvidos e boca. Eles são seus maiores meios de comunicação e de transporte. Com os olhos, você irá ao infinito, nas múltiplas leituras que se dispuser a se aventurar; o nariz resgatará os mais antigos odores que marcaram sua infância, seu passado, transportando, à sua mente, cenas domésticas de almoços, jantares, festas familiares, esterco no curral, perfume da primeira namorada, suor de uma conquista, ao mesmo tempo que, também, invadirá as suas narinas o cheiro das flores derramadas em volta do corpo de um estimado…
Os ouvidos sempre serão sua porta de entrada. É por eles que lhe chegarão as mais diversas histórias, quer você as tenha solicitado ou não. Em casa, nas ruas, nos bares, nos bondes, livrarias, hospitais, escola, trabalho, funerais… Onde quer que você esteja, sempre haverá alguém contando, para você ou outro alguém, acontecimentos vivenciados por ele ou outrem. E isso deve ir diretamente para o seu arquivo mental. Fatalmente, dar-lhe-á várias histórias.
E, finalmente, a boca. Talvez seja a menos importante de todos os componentes de sua face no quesito literatura, afinal, nem todos os poetas ou escritores sentem-se à vontade para declamar seus versos ou ler seus escritos. Porém, ela ser-lhe-á de grande valia ao comunicar-se com os outros. Ela abrirá corações endurecidos, facilitará revelações sigilosas…
Enfim, caro mancebo, não fique nas nuvens, esperando que a chuva de inspiração desça sobre você. Os elementos estão com você. Em você. Enlace-os e se desenlace.
